 Often the first baby in a home is of the four-legged variety and then later on, couples make the decision to bring a human baby into their lives. Just because you're expecting doesn't mean you have to give up your pet.
Saint Joseph Mercy Health System offers a course on "Pet Preparation for Baby". Topics covered include:
- What to expect from your pet
- How to prepare for success
- Simple tips on an easy transition
- How to anticipate and prevent potential behavior problems
You must pre-register for the class which is held every second Tuesday of the month.
