We have dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits and occasionally, ferrets, guinea pigs and other caged pets that need caring homes.
NEW HOURS - The Humane Society of Huron Valley is open to the public:
Tues. through Fri. - noon to 7:00 p.m. (adoptions end at 6:30 p.m.)
Sat. through Mon. - noon to 5:00 p.m. (adoptions end at 4:30 p.m.)

Check out our "Diamonds in the RUFF" Special Needs Animals. These animals will need special care and love but are deserving of a forever home of their own.
We have PERFECT PAIRS that need adoption. These companion animals are two peas in a pod and they must be adopted together. Two is BETTER than one! Please visit our Perfect Pairs.
In order to adopt, you must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, with proof of residence.
If considering adoption, please bring the following with you when you visit the shelter:
- vaccination records for your current pets
- a copy of your lease, if applicable
- a driver's license or other proof of address
Our low adoption fee includes:
- Sterilization - spay or neuter
- De-worming and basic vaccinations, including rabies
- Feline Leukemia test for cats
- Heartworm test for dogs
- Free microchip identification

ANY SENIOR CITIZEN (62 years or older) will receive a $20 discount on adoptions.
Senior Citizens adopting Senior Animals are eligible for a FREE adoption.
