The Humane Society of Huron Valley believes that animal suffering can be prevented through education. Through adoption counseling, shelter tours and classroom presentations, we provide people of all ages the information they need to be responsible pet owners and animal enthusiasts.

Local Dog Network
The Local Dog Network is a group of locally owned and operated businesses, not franchises. The monies earned by these organizations goes to employing local residents as well as supporting the local economy. Not just any company can become part of the Local Dog Network - these businesses are researched and understood to be operated with the highest levels of integrity. They are also strong advocates of the health and well-being of all dogs and support local dog rescue efforts.
