Bart  Bart the Basenji Adopted in October 2011 Bart joined our family three weeks ago. The first couple of weeks he was loving but reserved. This last week his inhibitions are gone and he now shows us the spunky side of his personality. He is surprisingly well behaved for a Basenji that we let him loose in the house when we leave. When we return he greets us at the door and then runs and pounces on one of his stuffed toys. It makes us laugh every time. He has filled a void in our lives after losing our two Basenjis after 12 years. We strive to make him as happy as he makes us (although we probably need to ease up on the treats as he is getting a little pre-holiday padding.) We are so lucky to have him! |
