We can only do this life-saving work with your help. Most of our programs operate solely on donations and we rely on people like you to fulfill our vital mission. There are many ways to support the animals in our care. Remember that your contribution is critical and will make a significant impact.

HSHV is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donation is tax-deductible. HSHV is not affiliated with or funded by Michigan Humane Society or any other humane organization.

To make a donation by phone, please call (734) 662-5585. It just takes a few moments, and we're always glad to hear from you!

To make a donation by mail, please send your contribution to 3100 Cherry Hill Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Please indicate if you're making a donation in memory or honor of someone special, or if you would like the donation applied to one of our programs.

Special Events

We host several fundraising events throughout the year. Walk & Wag, our largest fundraiser, takes place in May. We also host a golf tournament in late summer and our Compassionate Feast vegetarian dinner in the fall. Here is a complete list of upcoming events with dates and details.

Honor a Loved One

If you're looking for a special way to honor or memorialize a beloved person or pet, we have two additional options for you. Create a Personal Fundraising page, which allows you to create a guest book for family and friends to share memories, and a complete set of email tools to keep in touch with anyone who makes a donation through your page.

Purchase an Engraved Paver in our "Path of Love"

If you're looking for a permanent remembrance, consider purchasing a brick in our Path of Love. There are two sizes of bricks to choose from, with room for a personalized message.
