My latest batch of chicks this past spring resulted in 1 too many roosters. Olive (who became Oliver) was held routinely while growing and is not an aggressive bird. He is protective of the other hens and enjoys running around. He does not particularly enjoy being held now but that is typical of rooster behavior. He is a beautiful bird probably the most striking in our flock.
