DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun way to have your children practice their reading skills? Join us for HSHV’s Rescue Reading program select Saturdays 10:00-11:30am.  This program includes time reading to our adoptable animals, a group read-aloud and a dog meet-and-greet! This is a drop-off event designed for ages 6-11.  For children under 6, we invite you to visit us for Little Paws Storytime.\nDue to space concerns, we generally ask that adults do not stay for Rescue Reading, however, we understand that in some situations a child may feel more comfortable with an adult accompanying them.  Please let us know in the registration if an adult will be staying for the program.\nRegistration: Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 10 children per session.\nFee: $10 per child\nBooks: While we have many books available, we would love to have your children bring several books to read during the session that are at their reading level.\nQuestions?
