Thelma

Meet Thelma, a yellow belly slider turtle looking for a home. Turtles are strong swimmers and spend a majority of their time in the water, the rest of the time they're basking to regulate their body temperature. They need a water filtration system, a water heater, a basking area and a basking lamp. What does all this mean for Thelma? It means that we need an adopter who can give her everything she needs to be healthy and happy. A tank or habitat with a minimum of 75-90 gallons of water for now, and the ability to purchase/build and house a minimum 100-120 gallon tank or habitat. The necessary equipment, such as a water heater, lamps, filtration system, and the ability to afford replacement bulbs and an increase in the electric bill from running said equipment. We know that such an expense is a tough ask, but we also know that it is very worth it. If you or anyone you know can say "yes" to all of the above items, send them our way!
