Our toy poodle has a sweet and affectionate nature and is extremely smart. However, she has always had an anxious temperament, which has been a challenge despite several training sessions. She does not get along well with children, particularly since the birth of our daughter three years ago. Unfortunately, she has become reactive towards other dogs as well, especially after being attacked by a larger dog at a dog park about five years ago.

We are heartbroken to make this decision, but our toy poodle has not adjusted well to our daughter since she was born. Recently, she nipped our daughter’s friend, which has made it clear that our home is no longer the right environment for her. Due to her anxiety and reactivity towards both children and other dogs, she requires a new home where she can feel safe and comfortable without these stressors. We love her dearly and want what is best for her, even if it means letting her go.
