Our friends neighbors surrendered this dog to us out of fear of taking him to a shelter. He was kept in a kennel for 12-15 hours a day due to their busy lives, so now with us he is learning how to behave in a house, and get along with another dog. He LOVES having a playmate, but ideally one that is as young and active as he is. Our own dog is older and much more tired so he cannot keep up. He is learning basic commands as well, and we are trying to get through the independent Husky attitude he very much has, We don’t have the funds to keep Apollo, neuter him, or even buy a crate right now. We rescued him out of fear that he would be abandoned or worse, but he is such a loving pup and really does want to be loved too. He is very active and energetic as he is a Husky/Shepherd mix but we have not yet found someone who wants him and can give him the life and the exercise he needs. Please help us find this sweet and gorgeous pup a forever home.
