Apollo loves his humans more than food and toys combined! He is healthy, loyal, and very devoted to his humans, but he has shown serious aggression toward other animals, especially other dogs. Our vet feels that Apollo could be his best self in a home with a fenced in yard, no other pets, and no small children. We love his silly self to death, but want him to thrive. He is a big fan of cuddling, especially if you let him under the covers! Leash walking might be possible with a trainer, but currently does not happen because of his aggression toward other dogs. He had a fenced yard where he happily ran off his crazy energy, but we no longer have that. He is very handsome with mis-matched eyes and a huge noggin. 😍 He knows several commands and understands many words. He does not dig up the yard, try to escape, mess with the trash, or tear up the furniture. He is house and crate trained, and is a good road buddy in the car. Vegetables are his favorite snacks. If you let him on your bed, he will melt into a puddle of affectionate jelly. Note: If you choose Apollo, we will ask that you sign an agreement to NEVER use him as a fighting dog. Thank you.
