Stitch is a smarty pants who loves activity and attention. Stitch has a lot of energy and needs a companion dog/herd to match his high energy level. He gets along with other animals of all species. Being an Aussie, Stitch is a known protector and loves to herd and protect sheep and goats at his grandma’s farm. Herding farm animals not only brings Stitch joy, but also relieves his energy while providing him with companions. At home, Stitch is the protector of his family (his herd) and can be over protective when visitors approach; Stitch will be the first to startle you when he barks to alert you to anything unfamiliar. At home, Stitch will quietly follow you from room to room to show his love. Stitch is a loyal and obedient companion that has endless love to give. Because of his high energy and instinct to protect, he should not be in a home with younger children. Stitch is neutered, microchipped, fully potty trained, up to date on his vaccinations, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He takes over-the-counter supplements (Dasuquin & Omega-3 Fatty Acid) daily for luxating patella. The supplements help with the inflammation and friction of the joints. Stitch is looking for a human companion(s) who will love him as much as he will undoubtedly love them.
