Chili is a nervous girl who gains a lot of confidence around other dogs. She spent 3 weeks in foster care and gained a lot of confidence. She is overwhelmed in the shelter environment and would love to get back out into a home. She can be avoidant with new people at first but is more comfortable when another confident dog is around to show her the ropes. Due to her nervousness, she would probably do best with older kids. She would need the ability to separate and slowly introduce to any cats in the home.
How to Foster Chili:
New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and signing up to become a new foster. Veteran foster parents can email fosters@hshv.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
