Hello there! My name is Bailey, and I’m an adorable Chihuahua-terrier mix looking for my forever home. I may be small, but my heart is filled with immense loyalty. I’m here to tell you a little about myself and why I could be a perfect companion for you.
At 5-years-old, I’ve had some life experiences that have shaped me into the charming little lady I am today. Just so you know, I’ve been spayed and have all my vaccines, which means I am ready to join your family without any concern about adding more little ones to the world.
I’m a true human lover! While I may have a reserved attitude towards other dogs, there’s a reason. I had a bad experience with a larger dog attacking me in the past, and it has made me a bit wary around unfamiliar dogs. But don’t worry, with proper introductions and a patient approach, I have learned to trust and feel more comfortable around other canines. While, I’ve already started training, I need continued coaching and encouragement.
When it comes to humans, however, my heart soars! I adore the company of people and thrive in their presence. I’ll be your most loyal friend, ready to snuggle on your lap and shower you with endless affection. I love to chase balls and play tug of war, though I’m still catching on with fetching.
Another thing you should know is that I LOVE food and mealtime is my favorite part of the day. Carrots are my absolute favorite snack. I have a tendency to get a little excited about food, so it is important that I’m fed separate from other dogs so I don’t have the temptation to gobble their meals too. With the right arrangements, we can ensure I enjoy my food while the other furry friends enjoy theirs.
Lastly, it’s important to mention that I sometimes struggle with anxiety. It’s not something I can control, but with proper care and little help from medication, it becomes more manageable. That’s why I am looking for a patient understanding home that provide the support I need. A family that’s committed to my training to help me overcome my fears would be absolutely paw-some!
I promise to shower you with love, joy and endless cuddles. We can go on walks in the park, have cozy movie nights, and share laughs together. I’ll greet you with a wagging tail when you come home, ready to be your loyal sidekick! So, what do you say? Are you ready to open your heart to a furry bundle of love like me? If you think we could be the perfect match, please reach out to Miles at (734) 657-9150 and let him know you’re interested in meeting me, Bailey. I can’t wait to start our journey together!
