Buddy (a.k.a. Hodad to some!) is a beautiful diamond in the rough rescued from the streets of Detroit. He is confident, does not spray in the house, and stays calm on car rides. He does not seem to mind living inside and is a sweet lap cat under the right circumstances (when nothing else interesting is going on). Buddy plays a mean game of sisal twine attack and is expert at jingle ball. Note he could be the poster boy for “Cats in Sinks.” I have gotten him all his needed medical care. His coat is a little rough due to malnutrition and bad haircuts, but I think he will ultimately end up a gorgeous large boy (at 12 pounds he is still underweight).

The only issue with Buddy staying in my home is that he is very keen to dominate my other cats. He chirps at them so endearingly, but his intentions are not peaceful. 😀 This may get better over time (he was just neutered in late July), but right now, unless you have cats who want an overlord, I think he would thrive as someone’s only cat. I would love to find someone willing to nurture him to his full potential!
