Rosie loves to give hugs and kisses, and is EXTREMELY playful with a zest for life. She knows basic commands (sit, shake, lay down, come here) and she’s both potty and crate trained. She is a very high energy dog who needs at least 90 minutes of dedicated, active play time per day. She’s very smart, loves to eat fruits and veggies (blueberries and sugar snap peas especially), and is great at catching treats and toys mid-air. She is EXCELLENT with other dogs, cats, and kids, and her ideal home is one where she has plenty of space (fenced in backyard is a requirement), plenty of enrichment, and at least one animal playmate (also required). She definitely picks favorites and will get attached to “her person”/”best friend”. Rosie does chew when understimulated and she struggles with resource guarding. She requires a dedicated, experienced owner who understands that terrain, but your efforts will pay off with a reward of the bestest dog friend you could ever have. She has an adorable half blue/half brown eye too. We know Rosie can be amazing when all her needs are met and she has an environment where she’s properly enriched, better trained, and has a “job to do”.
