We’ve decided it’s best to rehome our family cat, Gretta. She is a wonderful cuddler. Very soft good temperament. She is front-declawed, so she can absolutely NOT be an outdoor cat. She is up to date on vaccinations. Last year our other cat passed away and she has been stressed ever since. Over the years we’ve also added several small children to our family and 2 dogs. She is quite afraid of the littles so shes just been sulking in one room hiding. As soon as the kids go down she’s all about cuddles so I think she just needs a home with no kids or older gentle kids (8+). She also doesn’t like dogs much so ideally no other dogs but would tolerate a gentle breed (not the biggest fan of our german shepherds high energy). I think a home with other cats would be fine. No rehoming fee. She loves treats, uses pine pellets for litter, front-declawed so no furniture damage. We will wait as long as it takes to find the right home so we’re in no rush. She likes to be pet more like a dog than a cat, LOVES to be brushed and will eat and endless supply of treats if you let her. She adores bird watching so a window with a nice view would be her spot. Hair is very soft and doesnt stick into cough so very east cleanup. Very healthy weight, can get a yearly UTI if stressed but usually we just get her a quick antibiotic shot for $20 and she’s good to go – we’ve found she just likes her litter box kept quite clean.
