Noodle is a very sweet boy who had a rough start to his life. He was brought to the humane society when he was about a year old looking very sickly and hungry. Somewhere along the line he left the care of humans and was living on the streets prior to arriving at the shelter. He was adopted from the humane society by a volunteer after she saw him being overlooked for adoption for a period of time. After many vet visits and diagnostics later, it was determined that Noodle has difficulty digesting his food and many of his behaviors were due to him being hungry and not always getting nourishment from his food. Once this was diagnosed, the treatment of using canned venison cat food with added enzymes to help him digest his food was successful and his behaviors calmed down and he seemed less anxious. Noodle is incredibly smart and curious and he will get into things that he shouldn’t. He gets along with other cats although having been undersocialized for a while he plays rougher than he needs to. Noodle is a very loving cat when he makes the attachment to a human. Because of his high needs and costs of his food and health care, a stipend is available for the right person who wants to love Noodle and take him into your home.
