Bug is the sweetest girl who just wants to be everyone’s best friend in the whole world! She is GREAT with other animals and currently lives in a home with a miniature dachshund, 2 cats, and a lizard. She is super cuddly and will hang out with you on the couch for most of the day, but she loves to get riled up and play as well! She enjoys going for walks and frolicking in the dog park. She loves her chew toys (especially if they have a squeaker!) Bug is leash trained to walk on the left side and does very well in a harness. She is very good with learning words and commands. So far, she knows: sit, stay, come here, her name (Bug), outside, “where’s your toy?”, breakfast, dinner, bedtime, walk, “left-side”, and no. I have started agility training with her, and hurdles are her favorite!

Bug has separation anxiety, and requires a home where someone is available to be with her all the time. She doesn’t really care who is with her, as long as there is a human around. She does great at our local doggy daycare, going to friends’ houses when I go to work, etc. As long as someone is around, she’s happy!

Bug previously lived in a home with a young child, and was incredibly anxious when their son would cry or scream. I believe that Bug would only do well in a home with children 10 and older, but a child younger than that who is good with animals might be okay.
