Ari is a perfect mix of Border Collie and Pitbull, blending the best qualities of both breeds. At 2 years old and weighing just 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size – little enough to cuddle but sturdy enough for all your adventures! She’s a true dream dog for the right family or individual.
Ari is incredibly intelligent and a fast learner. She picks up new tricks and commands quickly – usually after being shown just a couple of times! She’s crate trained, potty trained, and has made amazing progress with her leash training. She’ll thrive with someone who is patient, experienced in dog training, and eager to keep up with her love of learning.
This active girl needs a fenced in yard to run and play in and will be happiest in a home that can provide her with lots of mental and physical enrichment. She loves playing fetch and tug-of-war and would excel in agility training, flyball, or other structured activities.
Ari is also incredibly sweet, loyal, and cuddly. She’s wonderfully intuitive and sensitive to the people she loves, making her an incredibly rewarding companion. Once she bonds with you, she’s locked in and will love you for life. She’s loves children and is so patient and gentle with them, and thrives in a home with lots of activity and engagement.
Ari’s Challenges:
Ari’s biggest challenge is her reactivity. Motorcycles and bicycles are her biggest triggers, and she can be fearful of new people. However, with patience, structure, and consistent training, she’s made great progress and can continue to improve with the right person.
Ari is dog-selective, so she doesn’t get along with every dog but has great doggy friends and loves playdates with the right match. She can’t live with cats due to her strong herding and tracking instincts.
Ari’s Ideal Home:
No cats.
A fenced in yard to play in.
An active lifestyle with lots of mental and physical enrichment.
A patient, experienced dog owner who loves training and working with dogs.
A family or individual who will continue her training and give her the structure and love she deserves.
If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and loyal best friend to share your life with, Ari might be your perfect match!
