Milo is somewhat of a special case, since his human companion died of Covid in April 2020. He has a husky/shepherd appearance and is smaller and more sedate than many huskies. Milo is quiet and prefers to curl up under a table or within petting range and tends to focus his affection on a few people. He is still somewhat introverted and recovering from the loss of his person and is looking for another human companion. He would likely be best with a single person or couple without young children. Milo is not good around loud noises, loud people or small children. He gets scared from loud noises – thunderstorms, fireworks, etc. Milo is also reactive around other dogs he perceives as a threat and will bark at strangers. If you can get past Milo’s defenses, he is such a sweet, affectionate dog, who will go on outdoor adventures and hike miles with you. He needs a patient person who wants a loyal canine companion, and is willing to coax or cuddle him. Milo is fully vaccinated as of September 2022.
