Precious is very sociable and sweet. She loves attention but will also go find her spot to nap when she’s had her fill. She does not do well in a multiple cat home. She was fine with her brother. However, when we moved in with my husband’s cats 2 years ago, things became bad for her. She is very much so a beta and may be fine with one other cat, especially a kitten. She does great with dogs! Precious has absolutely gorgeous markings and the meow of a 50-year smoker. She has a little baby kink at the end of her tail that is very cute. She chirps and plays but also just loves to be next to you.

Precious also has a special condition called megacolon. It is life long, however, my vet and I found a really successful medicine/food combination that has let her live a very normal and happy life. As long as you monitor her bowel movements, it’s very easy to tell. If she doesn’t have a bowl movement in two days, she needs a basic enema. Last November she got backed up badly for the first time and we realized her condition. After that, she had had no issues until last month when she needed an enema again. Enemas are very normal and run about $20-30 , depending on your vet. She hasn’t needed one for over a year, and since she’s had one, she’s been back to her normal, happy, healthy self.

I bought a $300 microchip feeder that protects her special food from other animals. (comes with her) Her two medicines get delivered, along with her food. In the morning, she gets wet food with her two medicines mixed in with a sprinkling of miralax. Later, she gets her royal canine G.I. dry food sprinkled with miralax. And that’s it! (If you’re interested, I’m more than happy to provide photos and detailed instruction of exact measurements)

This has been the hardest part in finding someone that that can care for her. I love Precious so much. It breaks my heart that my best friend couldn’t take her to keep her in the family. She can be the star of the house if you let her. She’s always been all of friend’s favorite kitty. Please adopt her! She’s the sweetest girl.
