Goobie is very loyal, loving, and eager to please. Currently he lives in a house with 2 kids, 2 cats, and a hamster. While he is very good with the kids, adults and the cats of our family, he is very anxious and needs to be introduced to new people slowly. Once he does warm up and and gets to know you and your friends/acquaintances, he’s ultra lovey dovey. Goobie is not good with other dogs, especially small ones. He could be introduced to some similar sized dogs with some success, but I’d recommend extreme caution. Goobie is anxious and excitable and would do best in a house with someone very experienced with dogs, and herding dog knowledge would be even better. He loves walks, playing catch, and tug o’ war, knows a few tricks. Bonus: he does not eat off of tables or kitchen counters. He is very affectionate and cuddly and would gladly accept pets and belly rubs all day. He is loyal and protective of his favorite people, always being nearby or at the center of the house where he can keep an eye on every room and person.
