I rescued Carina August 2017 while living in Ann Arbor. I also met her foster and volunteer at HSHV, Tom, that day. Since then not only have I had an incredible dog by my side but Tom and I have become good friends. He and his wife and dogsat Carina a number of times and have hosted me overnight when our flight was canceled. Since the adoption, Carina and I have traveled across North America, living in New York, Vancouver and Mexico. She travels so well and everywhere she goes she breaks hearts. Every day people stop me to tell me what a sweetheart she is or ask to take photos of her! She has grown from a shy scared little pup to a goofy sassy diva! I love every minute with her.
