Everyone thought we were crazy for getting a puppy when I had a baby, but I wanted them to grow up together. We were told Petey (formally Chucky) was mouthy and loved to nip at hands. That didn’t deter us because we are experienced dog owners. He was all the way in the back and was the last of his litter. I knew I wanted him coming in, but it was set in stone when I met him.
We got him that day, and with lots of training and patience, he has become such an amazing dog. He’s good with dogs, cats, and kids. My daughter adores him, and from day one all he wanted to do is kiss her.
We are so blessed to have our boy we love so much! Very glad we chose to adopt! Here’s a picture of our boy now all grown up!
