Rosie is a beautiful 6 year old standard labradoodle. Her mother is a Labrador and her is a poodle. She is tall with long legs but weighs only a bit over 40 pounds. She is agile and loves to run, chase squirrels (she has never caught one) and play fetch. Rosie is affectionate; she wishes she were a lap dog. She is very attentive to her adults and is often by our sides. She is super smart and can open doors with lever handles both inward and outward. Rosie is healthy, neutered, up to date on her shots and has a chip.

I recently took Rosie in from my mother’s possession as she has young children living with her.
(niece and nephews from 1 year-12 years old) Rosie has at times shown to be jealous of the little ones and once growled, showed intimidation toward them. While she has never bit anyone, it fears them that she could be aggressive if pushed to the point. Ultimately her surroundings are environment is not the best for her. Needs to be caged up when the children are around, and ultimately creates a knife in the situation. She is fine with older children. This may just be a one off type of situation as she is my mothers other half, sticks to her like glue.

She is a super sweet girl that deserves a better life than what can be provided for her right now.

She is ball driven, and loves to run. I have been taking her to the park daily to run with the ball launcher. In the time I have had her, she has not shown any signs of aggression. Is well socialized and just wants loving from everyone.
She is easily trainable, wants to learn, and thrives off stimulation as such.
She is also the type of dog to cuddle and lounge out all day just happy to be in your presence. follows you everywhere you go and wants to be your best friend.

This has been my mother’s favorite dog, and she has had dogs her entire life.
It is very heartbreaking for her, but fears the alternative would be devastating.
