Vega needs a home without other pets or children. She has lived with a cat and has been gentle with her but that is not to say she will be that way with all cats. She has a ton of energy and is highly active. She needs someone who has time to walk her and play with her. She is used to being walked almost daily for 2-4 miles. She is very sweet once she gets comfortable with someone but she is often shy at first. She loves to swim and she is incredibly loyal to her owners. She is smart and she will try to be alpha even over the humans if she is allowed. So she will require someone that will keep her in check. She is leash trained but her manners on leash could improve. Sometimes she will pull as hard as possible, other times she walks great. She does best on off-leash trail walks. She has great recall and never leaves the yard. She loves her “peanut” (kong toy) and it is the only toy she has been unable to destroy. She will play fetch with this toy as well as other balls and ropes.
