Looking for an amazing home for Amor. Amor is my daughters dog, who has been living with me for the past 5-6 months. She has some behavior issues, which is why she came to live with me and she has worked through some of those wonderfully.

Reasons why Amor could be a perfect fit for you. She is beautiful and very smart, loving, loves car rides (don’t forget her seatbelt), great with babies and kids, loves kittens, and is protective of her home and family. She would be perfect for a female looking for a companion, who will keep her on a routine and respect her current limitations and work with her through the challenges she is still overcoming. She loves being a couch potato.

Challenges Amor has overcome so far, she can go in her crate at night and will let you know if she needs to go to the bathroom at night. She is becoming more comfortable around men, treats help her like them more at first and telling her they are a friend. She prefers to be outside in a fully fenced yard or she can be inside, but must be put outside every couple hours.

Challenges Amor still has, separation anxiety, which can lead her to go to the bathroom in the house sometimes, if left for long amounts of time. Amor was a street rescue, then tormented by men while in her crate, we believe, that’s the brief history we know about her, so she is very skittish around most men, but she does go in her crate now.

Amor is a routine dog. Knowing what to expect is very important to her comfort level. She eats, is crated, and is let out of her crate at the same times daily and this has helped her grow a lot over the past few months.

(She is fully up to date on all vetting, is fixed, and on heartguard, which she receives mid- month)
