Hera is an incredibly sweet dog. She loves to sit right next to you for pets. She’s constantly wagging her tail and always wants to give kisses. She likes to sleep late in the mornings and snuggle up snoozing while we work from home. She likes to hang out in her crate and watch the world go by out the window. She loves to show her belly to people and get belly rubs. We love her so much.
Devastatingly, she and our older dog have had conflicts over the past few months. We worked hard, and thought we had solved the problem with professional training and controlling triggers, like keeping them separate while they eat. They are usually friends, but they had a fight last night with no clear cause, and we think Hera needs to be an only dog because she gets scared and reactive. We are looking for a loving home for our little sweet ‘tato, where she can be an only dog. Is that your home?
A few more logistics for anyone who might be interested:
She knows come, sit, place, paw, outside.
She is fully house trained and seems to be past the puppy chewing phase. She is about two years and six months old.
She loves company and has mostly learned not to jump on people from excitement when they come to visit. She’s even better when our older dog isn’t there riling her up.
She is good at staying near you on walks, but may get excited and pull hard when barked at by another dog.
She doesn’t try to get up on the furniture and is happy laying on her beds.
She is crate trained and has stayed in her crate up to 12 hours during special events with no issues. She normally sleeps on a dog bed in our room.
She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
We will include beds, leash, harness, and the rest of her professional training if they allow us to transfer it.
Our home is a relatively quiet home with no kids, though we host visits from adult friends multiple times a week.
