This little gentleman is Phoenix AKA Nix. I rescued him from a family member a few months ago. He was kept in a crate most of his life and was only let out to go to the bathroom. I’ve spent a few months getting him healthy and trained so he can find his forever home. He is about a year and a half old, 30-35lbs, neutered, terrier mix of some kind. I have a dog and a cat, and he does relatively well with both. He just wants to chase/play with the cat, although she wants nothing to do with him. Because he was kept in a crate for most of his life, he wasn’t socialized properly and is still figuring out how to play with dogs. He can be quite nippy with boy dogs and humpy with girl dogs, however, he has never been outright aggressive with any animal. I do not have children, but he has been around my nieces and nephews and did just fine. He is a very chill dog who loves cuddles, a good walk, and chasing squirrels. He would do well in a home where he can be the center of attention and loved unconditionally. If you or anyone you know is interested in adoption, email me or text/call at 517-614-1670.
