Rosie’s One Year!

It has been a full 365 days since we adopted our sweet Tiny Lion Rosie and we could not be happier. She is the sweetest, cuddliest, most loving ball of fluff we could have ever imagined and then some. Since she came home one year ago, Rosie has celebrated two human birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, a human graduation, and a move to a bigger, more kitty-friendly apartment. She has also gained one pound, putting her at a whopping nine! (She swears it’s not because of the kitty treats.) Rosie has been purring non stop since she came home (with

I love this baby so much. She doesn’t get along with my other dog all the time so she has taught me

Bringing an animal into your family can have a lasting impact, and for Sophie and Michael, it made them want to give back. Sophie and Michel had the idea to run a lemonade stand and collect the funds that they made selling their drinks. They then donated the money they made to HSHV! Thank you Sophie and Michael for remembering our shelter, and for taking great care of your furry friend!

Evan is Excited to Give Back

We love the enthusiasm of Kind Kids who make a difference to HSHV! Evan attended summer kids’ club, and when it was time for his class to pick a summer service learning project, they decided to choose the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Evan collected bottles and cans in the neighborhood, and when the collecting was done, Evan was able to donate a generous amount of money to our homeless shelter pets. Thank you to Evan and his class for showing HSHV your kindness and enthusiasm!
