Sweet Siblings
Maya and Zane are some awesome siblings! They wanted our cat residents to have fun this winter so Maya and Zane saved up their allowance and brought HSHV some amazing cat supplies. Compassionate Classrooms
The Early Childhood classrooms at Old Village School are awesome! The preschoolers in these classrooms completed a fantastic service learning project to help the animals at HSHV. Sweet Sisters Live Happily Ever After
In 2015, I had been dreaming of adopting a kitten to add to our family. On Thanksgiving day, I was browsing the HSHV website and found a picture of 2 sweet sister kitties. They were all black fluff with gorgeous green eyes. I was hooked! The thing is that they were only offered as a “perfect pair” adoption because they were bonded and could not be separated. Chevy – a high octane couch potato
In 2014, I had to say goodbye to one of my childhood dogs. I still had his brother, who by then was half blind, deaf, but had never been alone. He desperately needed a buddy. I came to HSHV looking to bring home a companion for him, and found Chevy. Nadine 2 years later
We adopted Nadine nearly two years ago from HSHV. She was a scared pup when we met her and her personality was almost non-existent. It took about a month to get into a good feeding routine with her, and then another two months before she started to play with us at all.
