Addie is a sweet girl looking for a little break from the hectic shelter. She can be nervous of new people at first but loves to engage in our playgroups with other dogs at the shelter. She’s been learning basic cues and manners with the help of staff and volunteers and has made great strides. While she’s too nervous for little kids under 5, she may do well with older, more dog savvy teens in the home. She can go to foster with other dog siblings (she would probably love it!) and may benefit from meeting them prior to going home but has been adaptable to plenty of playstyles as she interacts with dogs. Addie likes to play chase with other dogs, often with a preference of being chased. Discretion should be used when placing with cats due to a lack of history.
How to Foster Addie:
New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and signing up to become a new foster. Veteran foster parents can email fosters@hshv.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
