A Birthday for the Animals

Rachel is such a kind kid!  Her family adopted a dog (Duke) from Love Train, which inspired her to help the other animals at HSHV.  For her birthday this year, Rachel asked her friends and family to donate to HSHV.  She collected blankets, towels, dog food/treats, toys, gift cards, and monetary donations.  Thank you for thinking of the animals on your birthday, Rachel.  We greatly appreciate your donation!

Generous Girl Scouts

The members of Brownie Troop 40856 are very kind!  Audrey, Daniela, Gemma, Ellie, Maya, Lily, Winnie, Morgan, and Ari made dog bandanas, braided dog toys, and toilet paper roll cat toys for the homeless animals at HSHV!  They wanted to help the animals find new homes and feel loved.  Thank you so much for the wonderful donation, Brownie Troop 40856!

Giving in Memory of Biscuit

Ava, Jacob, Alex, and Quinn are very kind!  They created a money jar to honor their dog, Biscuit.  For the past 11 years, they’ve added loose change, pocket money, and birthday gifts to the jar.  After Biscuit passed away, they decided to honor his memory by donating the money to help the animals at HSHV!  We offer condolences as you mourn the loss of your dog, and we greatly appreciate the kindness you have shown towards animals.  Thank you so much, Ava, Jacob, Alex, and Quinn.

Madelyn is such a kind kid! Elementary Students Give Back

The students at Workman Elementary are so kind!  They collected many blankets and towels for the animals at HSHV after seeing a request for donations on the HSHV Facebook page.  The blanket/towel drive corresponded perfectly with their March reading month theme, Paws for a Good Book.  Students participated in fun animal themed activities while also collecting blankets and towels.  Thank you so much, Workman Elementary!  We are so thankful for your thoughtful donation.

Classroom Kindness

Mrs. Tamyka Jackson and the Mighty Fives class at A2 Steam are very kind!  Students worked with their 5th grade buddies to collect supplies for the animals at HSHV.  They made flyers, decorated a donation box, and promoted the donation drive to the whole school!  Students donated a variety of dog toys, supplies, and food.  Thank you so much for the wonderful donation!  We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity.

A Bake and Craft Sale for the Animals
