Paige is such a kind kid! Paige absolutely loves animals and wanted to show her support for HSHV. For her birthday party, Paige asked for donations for the resident animals here at the shelter. Amazing Annika

Annika is one kind kid! Annika celebrated her birthday at HSHV and wanted to to give back to the animals for her special day. To do this, she asked for donations to the shelter in lieu of gifts for her birthday. She helped to donate towels and other items that are important for keeping our animals safe and comfortable. Caring Classroom

Ms. Scheurer’s first grade class at Beacon Elementary is full of kind kids! After participating in a virtual field trip with HSHV, this first grade class was inspired to give back to the animals. They worked hard to make persuasive commercials to convince others at their school to donate items. Their commercials helped to donate a large assortment of great items for the shelter, such as food, toys, towels, blankets, and litter. Kind Cora

Cora is a super kind kid! She loves dogs and other animals so much that she wanted to do something nice for them. To help celebrate her 9th birthday, she asked for donations instead of gifts for our resident animals. Kindness in the Classroom

Joyce’s sixth graders at Hillside Middle School are such kind kids! This 6th grade class wanted to help out the resident animals in the shelter. To do this, they worked with their teacher in order to create lots of wonderful blankets to donate. We want to say a huge thank you to Joyce and her 6th grade class for their kindness and hard work. Isabella is such a kind kid! Isabella adopted her cat from HSHV and loves her very much. She was inspired by her love for her pet and wanted to help the other animals at the shelter. Super Scout Troop #40785

Troop #40785 is a very kind troop indeed. After completing the Three Cheers for Animals Journey and learning more about animals, this Daisy troop wanted to help the animals in the shelter. Together they used fabric markers to decorate bandanas in order to help the dogs at HSHV draw attention from adopters. They also wrote super kind notes to the dogs as well. Brilliant Brownie Troop #40058

Troop #40058 is full of very kind kids! They all love animals and wanted to do a community service project to help out the animals at HSHV. For their project, the troop worked hard by gathering blankets, towels, peanut butter, and other helpful donations through their school. They then brought these wonderful donations here to the shelter for all of the animals to enjoy. Thank you so much, Troop #40058! Mitch is such a kind kid! Mitch celebrated his birthday at HSHV. Instead of asking for gifts for his birthday, he asked for donations to give to the animals at the shelter.
