Age: 2   Sex: Female   Breed: Siberian Husky  Weight: 68lbs   Restrictions: No Other Animals. No Young Kids.

Abigale is a high energy girlie who needs some respite from all of the chaos of the shelter. Her extended time in the kennel surrounded by animals and strangers is stressing her out and she could use some quiet time to be herself. She can be nervous when greeting new people, particularly men, and should meet all members of the house before going to foster. Chloe would benefit from continuing positive reinforcement training in a home to get some skills on board. Once she’s outside, she’s full of zoomies and is a social girl with people she trusts – she likes to lean against legs for pets when she’s ready! Due to her history of fear/nervousness she should not go with kids under 5 and discretion should be used with kids under 12. Her surrender profile indicates she prefers older teens but may do well with quiet, older children. She cannot go with other animals due to history of conflict.

How to Foster Abigale:

New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and signing up to become a new foster. Veteran foster parents can email fosters@hshv.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
