A mere few hours after our engagement, we decided to celebrate by visiting the Humane Society of Huron Valley. My boyfriend, er fiance, and I have been talking about adopting for a while and thought it was time to check out the cute kitties. That was when we met this cute, friendly and fluffy cat.

He was a stray and came in to the Humane Society the day prior and was not quite ready for adoption. We asked the front desk for more information, and she informed us that he has to checked by the behavior specialist, neutered and emancipated. We really wanted to know more about him, and she said she would call us as soon as he is neutered. Four very long days later, we got a call that we could visit him. We somehow knew we would bring this sweetie home and went to the Humane Society with a cat carrier. He is my first pet ever, so naturally I was very nervous and wanted him to be as comfortable as possible.

Fast forward four weeks, and he is the king of our apartment. He loves chasing laser, protecting his kingdom from the top of his tree tower and lying next to us when we wants more belly rubs — I hear that most cats hate belly rubs! Thank you so much to the Humane Society of Huron Valley for bringing this sweet boy in to our lives!
