Clancy has been nervous with new people and dogs, which displays as reactivity towards the unfamiliar. He is learning to disengage from his triggers and will
need a foster with some experience working with reactivity who can help teach him how to ignore distractions and engage with his handler instead. He is an older gentleman and once you are in his circle he is a surprisingly goofy, energetic older boy who loves his time in the playing in the yard. He is looking for a quieter, calmer home environment where he can get plenty of rest between his spurts of energy and get away from the hectic shelter life. He has not seemed comfortable around younger children and will need a foster home without small kids. He does not have history with cats and will need a slow introduction with initial separation if he goes to a foster home with cats.
- I need to be the only dog
