Early Friday September 21, 2018 started as a normal day, and then I pulled up the Love Train pics that would be up for adoption that day..

Our boys instantly wanted an new pup and we had discussed getting another dog for our Lucy Goose to have a four-legged sibling. After racing to HSHV and pulling #10, we thought for sure we would not be bringing home the pup we thought was meant to be a a Sullivan.

Fast Forward—sitting and waiting, we finally heard #10, and we walked into the room. Instantly, we fell in love with Luke. He was so tiny and fluffy and full of energy. He instantly bonded with my hubby—going straight to eat his shoelaces. It didn’t take much convincing for us to decide he would make our family grow by 4 paws.

Fast forward—5 months Luke has gone from a 4lb 9oz fuzzball to a massive 60+ pound fluffy love bug. He loves his sister Lucy Goose and his human brothers. He never leaves our side, is a great supervisor when it comes to meal time and making sure his bowl is filled correctly, and is a huge helper when it comes to loading the dishwasher. He LOVES to play with his toys and gets super excited when dad gives him a milk jug to toss around.

This was our first time adopting from HSHV, and we would most definitely do it again. I fully believe in fate, and fate brought us to HSHV that Friday morning. Thank you for saving our pup pup and everything you do on a daily basis for all the animals.
