I met Remy (then Dilemma) one Friday after work. I spent the next week thinking about him and showing his picture to friends and coworkers, debating if it was the right time to get another cat. My old cat had died a few months before and I wasn’t sure I would ever get another. But something about Remy just kept calling to me. The next Friday, I came right over after work and asked to meet him. He leaned his head right into mine, and I knew he was mine. I came to pick him up the next morning. He’s brought so much joy to my life. He’s the funniest, silliest, and affectionate cat. Also quite possibly the most muscular! I learned his story from HSHV staff, and found out he was a neighborhood street cat who got bullied until a kind woman rescued him and brought him in. Now he’s the happiest boy, cuddled up with me every night. He loves to cuddle, play with catnip toys, attack plastic bags, and watch birds and squirrels through the big bay window. I couldn’t have asked for a better cat and best friend!
