We adopted Pepper about a year ago. We already had two dogs we loved, but there was a slight mismatch in their energy level. Pepper came in and was super playful with our younger dog and super sweet and reassuring with our older, more nervous guy. Plus, she is the happiest dog ever! Honestly, her little tail is so waggy, and she is just excited about everything! New toys, dog biscuits, a squirrel on the porch, a chance to sniff a cat tail, a piece of cardboard to chew up, a walk, a dip in the river — Pepper is always thrilled! It’s almost impossible to not smile at her enthusiasm. ♡
