Medusa can be nervous with new people but warms up with the help of treats and letting her choose to approach at her own pace. She has settled in well at the shelter and has made friends with a variety of staff. She is a very large dog – 150lbs – and will need a foster who is comfortable managing her large size. She can sometimes pull absent mindedly towards things she is interested in, including interesting smells, dogs, or smaller prey animals. She is not overly intense with this pulling but due to her size she could easily pull a person over accidentally. She can typically be interrupted from this behavior verbally and with the help of treats.
