Age: 8 Months  Sex: Female   Breed: Hound  Weight: 54 Pounds

Moon is an adolescent dog looking to expend some energy outside of the kennel. Even just a week or two outside the confines of a kennel would help her greatly. She is quick to pick up on training and would love to learn more some basics in a home! Fosters should be prepared to handle a high energy adolescent dog – toys, training, exercise and decompression time! Due to her arousal and nervousness, she should not go with kids under 12 but would likely do well with older, quiet teenaged kids. She must meet any potential foster dog siblings prior to going out to foster and would do best with a slow and proper introduction to any cats in the home due to lack of history.

How to Foster Moon:

New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and signing up to become a new foster. Veteran foster parents can email fosters@hshv.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
