Petoskey is a fun boy who needs help figuring out the world. He’s bright and energetic, but needs some help managing big feelings of excitement when seeing other dogs. He’s been wonderful in play groups, managing to play with a variety of dogs who pester him for play. While on shelter breaks, he’s been described as a ‘wonderful guest’ in the house and interacted well with all adult family members once given the space to choose how he wanted to approach. Petoskey should meet dogs at the shelter before going with them, and should be in a home with adults, or kids 12 and up who are dog savvy and able to give him ample space and time. We do not have a home history with cats.
