Adopt a Pet-of-the-Week!

These are some of our staff’s favorite animals. Shout out to our media partners for helping homeless pets find great homes! You can listen to us talk about these Pets of the Week on Thursdays around 7:30 a.m. on Ann Arbor’s 107one, 8:05 a.m. on WTKA, and around 10 a.m. on Saturday on 1290 AM WLBY.

The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-week is Monkey!

Hello, my name is Monkey! I’m pretty laid back and could do well in a wide variety of households, as long as you give me the time, space and patience I need to adjust. So bring the whole family and see I just might be the right fit for you!

All the animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is Blanche!

Do you have room in your home and heart for a sweet older dog? Meet Blanche! She’s 8 years old, and a bit shy initially, but blossomes into a sweet, delightful lady who loves affection. She enjoys exploring outside nose-to-the-ground,
sleeps soundly through the night, and is well-behaved when alone at home. This beautiful soul brings joy to everyone around her, and can’t wait to snuggle with you!
Blanche is currently living in one of our amazing foster homes. Just call 734-662-5585 or email adoptions@hshv.org to set up a meeting!

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Firefly!

Hi my name is Firefly! I am a shy kind of dog who is looking for a patient adopter, willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get more comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption survey online or in the shelter!
