The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-week is Capri Sun!

Hey my name is Capri Sun! I am a good dog looking for an adopter willing to offer proper training, socialization, and exercise. I am a quick learner, and with the help of some yummy treats, I will make you proud with my excellent manners. I do have A LOT of energy and may be a bit too much for some families! However, a lot of energy also means a lot of LOVE! With time, training, and patience- you can help me be the best dog I can be!
All animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is Bleu Cheese!

Hi my name is Bleu! I am a shy kind of dog who is looking for a patient adopter who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get more comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption survey online or in the shelter. I am currently under the care of the shelter medical team at HSHV. If you would like to learn more about me, please reach out to the Adoption Desk at (734) 662-5585.

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Foxglove!

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Foxglove!

Hello, my name is Foxyglove, or “Foxy” as my foster family has lovingly dubbed me. I have a history of being a shy girl, especially at the loud and busy shelter! But in my foster home, I have been so cuddly and fun! I am working on crate training, as I sleep in a crate overnight. I am also learning how to walk calmly on a leash, as I can get a bit excited and pull towards fun smells or things I see. I seem to be housetrained so far as well, which is a huge bonus! My ideal home would be a home without children under 5 due to my fearful history, and it would be best for me to meet everyone in the household (humans first and then potential dog siblings next) to make sure we all get along. I have not been around cats before, so a slow and proper introduction would be necessary. Could I be the one for you? Reach out to the adoptions team to begin the process of possibly meeting me!

Foxglove is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!
