The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-week is Mochi Snowball!

Hello, my name is Mochi Snowball, and I am the resident parakeet at HSHV! Not only am I intelligent, but I have an outgoing personality and can be very social. To keep me happy and healthy I need a stimulating environment with lots of activities, including climbing areas and chewing toys. I am also looking forward to forming a close, loving bond with my human flock, and becoming a great friend and companion.

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is Myotis!

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is Myotis!

Hey my name is Myotis and I have the BIGGEST ears! I’m a good dog looking for an adopter willing to offer proper training, socialization, and exercise. I love to play but I can be sensitive when it gets to be too much, I may do best in a home without young children or cats. I am a quick learner, and with the help of some yummy treats, I will make you proud with my excellent manners. I do have A LOT of energy and may be a bit too much for some families! However, a lot of energy also means a lot of LOVE! With time, training, and patience- you can help me be the best dog I can be! I am currently under the care of the shelter medical team at HSHV.

If you would like to learn more about me, please reach out to the Adoption Desk at (734) 662-5585.

All the animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Pete the Dragon!

Pete The Dragon is the best – but if you tell them so, you’ll make them blush! They don’t like being the center of attention, but if you give them soft blinky eyes and a little patience, you’ll soon become theirs. They can be rather shy so they would prefer a quieter home without younger children. They’re very good at hide and seek, so since you want their lovely company as much as possible, it’d be best to take things slow. After all, the best things in life are worth waiting for – like a special bond with a cat who doesn’t give head bumps to just anyone.
