Adopt a Pet-of-the-Week!

These are some of our staff’s favorite animals. Shout out to our media partners for helping homeless pets find great homes! You can listen to us talk about these Pets of the Week on Thursdays around 7:30 a.m. on Ann Arbor’s 107one, 8:05 a.m. on WTKA, and around 10 a.m. on Saturday on 1290 AM WLBY.

The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-week is Sahara!

Hi my name is Sahara! I am a good girl looking for an active adopter willing to offer training and exercise. In return, I can offer unconditional love and years of happiness! I’m a sensitive girl and other animals and small children can overwhelm me, so I’d like to be the only one in your life. I do have some big feelings about some things in this world and could use continued training to learn how to be brave. If you have room in your home and heart for me, I’d love to meet you!

The animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is Bluey!

Hey my name is Bluey! I am a good dog looking for an adopter willing to offer proper training, socialization, and exercise. I am a quick learner, and with the help of some yummy treats, I will make you proud with my excellent manners. I do have A LOT of energy and love to play, which may be a bit too much for some families — I’d do best in a home without young children, or other dogs. With time, training, and patience, you can help me be the best dog I can be!

My name is Pythagoras, and I am a bunny looking for a forever home! If you haven’t heard rabbits like me are very intelligent and we would love to show you what great family members we can be! We do need an enclosure with ample space and also need to be out of our cages for exercising and playing at least one hour a day! Feel free to stop by meet me today! Interested in adopting me? When adopting a small mammal from us, we do require a photo of the cage and where the animal will be housed, as well as what kind of bedding you plan on using. This photo can be on your cell phone!
