Hey my name is Oats! I am a good dog looking for an adopter willing to offer proper training, socialization, and exercise. I am a quick learner, and with the help of some yummy treats, I will make you proud with my excellent manners. I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without children 12 years and younger. I’d like to meet any potential dog siblings so I can make sure our vibes match before going home. I do have A LOT of energy and may be a bit too much for some families! However, a lot of energy also means a lot of LOVE! With time, training, and patience- you can help me be the best dog I can be!
All dogs and cats available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

Hi my name is Queso! I am a shy kind of dog who is looking for a patient adopter who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get more comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption survey online or in the shelter. I’m looking for a lowkey household without any young kids so I can be your main focus. I can be selective when it comes to new friends, so I’d like to meet any potential dog siblings before I go home.

My name is Darwin, a mild mannered young ball python who is ready for a forever home. I am a low maintenance snake, however, I do require special care and equipment to keep me happy and healthy. Due to being low maintenance, I can be a great choice for someone who works long hours or who doesn’t have time to walk a dog. It is important to do your homework before adopting any animal, especially one as unique as a python. If you decide a ball python is a good match for you, then I am ready to slither right into your heart and home!
