Hi my name is Lovage! I am a shy kind of dog who is looking for a patient adopter who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without younger children. Once I get more comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. All animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Shenanigans!

Choo choo! All aboard! Meet Shenanigans, an adorable puppy looking for a forever home! Because of HSHV’s successes, and desire to help animals in struggling communities, we have started a transportation program dubbed “The Love Train” which brings animals from shelters out-of-state and other communities in Michigan. HSHV’s Love Train is part of our ongoing collaborative effort to reduce needless suffering of homeless animals wherever they may be. Shenanigans is a nervous pup who will need some love and patience to learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. With training and care, he should be able to adapt to a wide variety of homes!
