Adopt a Pet-of-the-Week!

These are some of our staff’s favorite animals. Shout out to our media partners for helping homeless pets find great homes! You can listen to us talk about these Pets of the Week on Thursdays around 7:30 a.m. on Ann Arbor’s 107one, 8:05 a.m. on WTKA, and around 10 a.m. on Saturday on 1290 AM WLBY.

The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-week is Taloolah!

Hi my name is Taloolah! I am an older, gentle lady looking for a quiet, cat-free home so I can be myself. Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. It’s hard for me to open up with lots of noise and commotion, so the best family for me would be one without children under 5. I am ready to love. Could I be the girl for you?

All the animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

The WTKA Top-Dog-of-the-Week is John!

Say hello to John. This dude is a total sweetheart and enjoys hanging out with people and other dogs. And boy oh boy, would he love to get out of the shelter! He’s pretty shy here and it’s taken a lot of patience for staff and volunteers to help him open up, but we know that in a home setting he’ll really blossom. Come in and meet John today, or contact the Adoptions team at 734-662-5585 or adoptions@hshv.org.

The Lucy Ann Lance Show Pet-of-the-Week is Ted!

Hi my name is Ted! I am a good boy looking for an active adopter willing to offer training and exercise — but in return I can offer unconditional love and years of happiness! I do have some big feelings about some things in this world and tend to express this by reacting with barking, and may be a bit too much for some families. I will need to continue my training, and HSHV offers classes for dogs like me! Visit www.hshv.org for more information.
