Raine is a sweet guy who has needed some extra time earning our trust here at the shelter. Since developing bonds with staff, he has been a rockstar interacting with other dogs and a quiet, calm but cuddly friend here in the office. He has been learning new skills to help him gain confidence but he would benefit from the one-on-one time a foster is able to offer. Raine has nothing but butt wiggles and a need for pepperoni he’d love to share while he finds his forever home. He would do best in a quiet foster where he could acclimate and continue to earn new skills and trust in others/the environment around him. Since he’s interacted with other dogs, Raine could go to foster with another dog. He should go to an adult only foster, or one with older, quiet kids who are able to respect his need for space.
How to Foster Raine:
New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and signing up to become a new foster. Veteran foster parents can email fosters@hshv.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
