We already had 2 dogs, but felt we had more love to give. We came across the Love Train and saw Rosie’s picture on the website. We knew we had to meet her. She was sitting in the very back of her crate, very quiet. We asked to hold her. Immediately she showed interest and seemed to enjoy being held. After ecstatic affirmation from the kids, Rosie came home with us.

Introductions were made safely with our two adult dogs, who accepted the puppy ever so lovingly and patiently. “Puppy license” was definitely extended very freely. This was a year ago. Now the three of them are the best friends, and the older dogs seem so much younger when they play with Rosie. When we come home from work/school, Rosie’s behind does a happy 180-degree dance, tail happily wagging. She is also quite a snuggler with her people, happily taking turns being hugged, scratched and held all evening, every evening. In her spare time Rosie loves to perch on high places such as back of the couch. She also attempts to counter-surf, without much luck. When it is time to turn in for the night, she usually falls asleep on the couch next to, if not on top of one of her people. I know she feels loved and secure. Thank you, Love Train!
