My husband and I lost our first dog together two years ago. It took us until last December to start visiting HSHV. We saw a photo of Daphne and immediately went to the shelter. We learned she was in Foster Care because the shelter environment was too stressful for her. We visited her at the foster home and two days later brought her home. Daphne has been with us for close to seven months now and our lives are so much more enriched with having the pleasures and the struggles (she is STRONG so walks can be tough) of being pet parents. Daphne loves playing tug-o-war, chasing bubbles (and birds and squirrels and…LOL), playing with friends at Pup City, and most of all being a big old snuggle buddy. Our 60lb lap dog.
