Hello, my name is Foxyglove, or “Foxy” as my foster family has lovingly dubbed me. I have a history of being a shy girl, especially at the loud and busy shelter! But in my foster home, I have been so cuddly and fun! I am working on crate training, as I sleep in a crate overnight. I am also learning how to walk calmly on a leash, as I can get a bit excited and pull towards fun smells or things I see. I seem to be housetrained so far as well, which is a huge bonus! My ideal home would be a home without children under 5 due to my fearful history, and it would be best for me to meet everyone in the household (humans first and then potential dog siblings next) to make sure we all get along. I have not been around cats before, so a slow and proper introduction would be necessary. Could I be the one for you? Reach out to the adoptions team to begin the process of possibly meeting me!

Foxglove is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!

The animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.
